Notes based on the conversations at the Career and Leadership Journeys group discussion at the Summit.

Since Career and Leadership Journeys is such a broad topic, it was impossible to cover all related themes, but the discussion naturally centered around imposter syndrome — a theme that resonates at every stage of a professional woman’s journey, from the job application process to retirement.

After many insightful contributions from participants, we collectively developed a series of mantras to support and empower all professional women:

1. Rest and listen to your instincts. The answers to your toughest questions often lie within.
2. Embark on an intentional journey of acceptance and healing.
3. Unapologetically share your authenticity with both your personal and professional communities.
4. Stop hiding and take your place. The world needs your magic.
5. Recognize the power of your perspective. It can limit you or empower you — the choice is yours.
